Our 4 star bed & breakfast studio/loft accommodation in Harrietville in the Ovens Valley, is styled in the tradition of a cosy mountain lodge, with beautiful, hand crafted furnishings and abundant use of interior timbers that create a real sense of warmth. Outside, spectacular trees, flowers and birds enhance the experience and provide beauty in every season. The B&B is very highly rated by our guests and we love seeing people return year after year.

Sit in the morning sun on the bedroom balcony and enjoy a delicious continental breakfast with fine espresso coffee and views of the lavender fields. From the kitchen balcony, enjoy an afternoon BBQ while listening to the sounds of the mountain river only 20 metres away.

The property is on the banks of the Ovens River and features cottage gardens, natural bushland and quiet sitting areas to absorb the colours and fragrances of the summer lavender crop to the reds and golds of autumn, and iridescent colours and greens of new spring growth and the ever-bounding sounds of the river in winter.

Ideally located only 19 minutes from Bright and 30 minutes from Mt Hotham. Memorable weekend
Rona was the hostess with the mostest and made our stay perfect. Her local knowledge was limitless and her hospitality was 5 star rating and nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely be back. Thanks Rona

Beautiful part of the World
Our stay at Lavender Hue was everything that the photos promised. My husband and I went there for a Mini Honeymoon.. We arrived to a fabulous welcome from Rona who is adorable and a bottle of Local wine to celebrate with. The rooms were cosy and quaint and spotless, more than enough room for the both of us. Just a perfect getaway. Thankyou Rona and Bill for making us so welcome. I will definitely be recommending you to anyone who needs a little time away. PS the Scones and Jam are amazing

We had a lovely 2 nights in Harrietville, an easy 15 minute drive from Bright. It was gorgeous place to stay! Rona was so friendly, happy and keen to help you out! She has created a comfortable space for people to get away from their lives and relax. Rona goes over and above! Lovely breaky with local made jams and great lavender products to purchase :) thanks again Rona...

My partner and I stayed at Lavender Hue for three relaxing nights. It's in a beautiful location, right next to the river and surrounded by gardens. You can see the stars at night through the high windows and hear the sound of the river from your bed. The rooms were warm, clean and comfortable, we felt very well looked after. Rona brought us up a beautiful breakfast every morning including hot croissants, locally made jams and the most delicious coffees. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met.In the day we explored Mt Hotham, Mt Buffalo and the local surrounds of Harrietville. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B for a peaceful getaway.
