"Thank you so much for the personal touches such as message board, Happy Birthday signs and fresh flowers, not to mention the wine and chocolates. This place is absolutely perfect with everything you could need. It is such a homely place and we love the colour scheme.
The gardens are beautiful and you couldn’t be in a better location with the beautiful Ovens River and not too far for guests to walk into town. Mum and Dad had a wonderful holiday seeing the sights but I think they enjoyed the house so much more.

Had a great time!
The property is well kept and Rod is very accommodating. For night arrivals the driveway is hard to find - needs a fluorescent # 22 at end of driveway.

Perfect in every way
Bright just keeps getting better. Roses On The River was the perfect location for our family holiday. So close to town and a great swimming spot at the bottom of the garden. Thanks Rod for the recommendation to visit the Lady Bath Falls. They were so refreshing we returned for a second visit. The house is a home away from home, spotlessly clean and very very comfortable. It was great of Rod to pop around to say hi when we arrived. Running through the operation procedures of a few household items ensured no manuals needed to be read. More time to chill at the river and relax. Highly recommended. We will have Roses on the River as our no. 1 location when we return next time.

Excellent decision
Personalised welcome plus Rod's face-to-face tour of the property and facilities. Exccedingly well equipped, nothing to spare. Great place for the two of us. Pleasant short walk down the road or along the river to the town centre. We'll be back.

A true Home away from Home.
This home was immaculate and very tastefully decorated. Very well equipped with everything we could possible need(including champagne and chocolates), quality appliances and fantastic location, only a short walk into town. Only problem was we didn't want to leave! Thank you Paula and Rod, would definitely recommend this property

location plus
we have been to Bright 7 times and we've stayed at 6 different properties. My husband and I both voted this the best out of all the properties we've stayed at. The cottage is in a perfect location and is very comfortable. Its the little things that make a great stay in my opinion and this includes a well equiped kitchen with lots of crockery, glasses etc not just the usual 4 cups /glasses. The pantry with condiments, coffee , tea etc was also appreciated. The other important thing for me is the lounge and both these were very comfortable. We did a cycling holiday and Roses on the River was perfect for that . We could hose the bike down and lock it in the shed as well. I am in love with Bright and we will continue to come here every year and we will definately stay at this cottage again.
