Location, location, location

Yes, a cliché. But this apartment has a perfect location: steps way from the most historically important and interesting sites in Lisbon and yet quiet and comfortable as a living space. Highly recommended.

Mixed feelings...

The neighborhood is great, the communication with the host was fine, she was always very responsive and the apartment while modest was clean. The kitchen is well equipped but we did not use it as the restaurants were excellent. There was noise on the main street but it was not bothersome, as the windows and the interior shutters isolated very well.I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for a very unpleasant strong smell; starting with the first night, the apartment smelt like sewer quite strongly. It is located near a public WC, but that seemed clean so I am not sure if that was the source; maybe the old floors were the problem? As nothing seemed to be leaking, we figured there was nothing to do about it and did not want to waste our vacation time, so we dealt with it by turning off the heat and airing out the apartment extensively. This was the only downside to an otherwise very nice apartment. I hope it can be fixed so others can enjoy it to its full potential.

Excellent apartment in the heart of Lisbon

Had a great nine day stay. Host was amazing and apartment was perfect for us. It is on a busy street but new sound proof windows worked wonders at night. Highly recommend.

Enjoy Lisbon from this apartment

The location can’t be beat….close to the river, restaurants, tram, and metro. The apartment has everything you need to ensure a great visit to Lisbon, including full kitchen, dining and relaxing space, and two bedrooms. The host is so helpful with recommendations and logistics.

Sisters' Getaway!

The apartment was perfect for my sister and me. The location was excellent for walking around, with lots of cafes nearby. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and quiet (great windows). Carla met us at the apartment and answered all our questions. We would recommend this cozy apartment.
